Tracing Back to Presence

🙏 Try This: A Presence Practice

Stretch out one hand in front of you like a starfish. With the pointer finger of your other hand, slowly trace up the outside of your thumb as you breathe in. Trace down the inside of your thumb as you breathe out. Move finger by finger, breathing in on the way up and out on the way down.
As you trace, notice what’s happening:
Can you feel the skin of your hand?
Is your breath moving slowly or quickly?
What sensations are you aware of in your body?
When you finish tracing your pinky, pause. Notice what’s shifted. It’s a gentle way to reconnect to yourself—one breath, one fingertip at a time.
